Happy Birthday to Kate

Recently we were blessed to celebrate what we will call a "milestone" birthday with our friend Katie and friends...snaps to Dave for setting up the table a la' "holiday festive" while Laurie and I brought the birthday girl along...

The Elephants in the Room

Below are the results of our recent women's bible study White Elephant party...enjoy some of the pictures of the treasures we collected...we were most pleased with our 0.99 truck-stop Christmas CD and a lovely picture of Lindsay and Jeremy's son taken right out of the hopper! Thanks to Lis and Forest for hosting!

'Tis the Season...

...for Christmas tunes and I am so happy! I love Christmas music and even start listening before Thanksgiving usually. However, I have noticed an influx of really bad tunes out there as of late. In a recent discussion, we decided on our top three worst Christmas songs:

1. Christmas Shoes by New Song
2. Grown-Up Christmas List by any artist
3. Mary, Did you Know? by Kenny Rogers (he's just too grunt-y for the song's content)

We'd love to hear your least favorite or most-grating song - comment, please!

Wake the Nation

Here is a clip from a key stop by the Deacs in the 4th quarter of the ACC Championship...enjoy!

(Also - this is finally my first video upload to blogger (thanks cousin anne) -- I'm so proud!)

We're Dreaming of an Orange Christmas

This past weekend we journeyed long and far to Jacksonville, Florida to cheer on the Deacs in the ACC Championship...the Deacons traveled well and Alltell Stadium was bumpin'. We (Dave) drove all the way to Yulee, Florida Friday after work and hit the tailgate in Jacksonville the next day at 9:30.

Much fun and anxiety was had by all. Even Nana cheered us on in Hilton Head with Moots. To see the full adventure, check out our gallery on Snapfish. Next stop -- the FedEx Orange Bowl in Miami - who would thunk it from little Wake Forest? Go Deacs!
