Pivers is One

Our niece, Miss Ivy, turned one this past week ... check out these precious pictures. She's loving the chocolate. A girl after my own heart ... we love you, Pivers!

Quote of the Week

Today we had a tree taken down from our campus - sadly, it was sick with a disease and recently dropped a branch on one of my colleague's cars.

One of our kiddos watched and this was his response:

"Killing a tree is the same as killing a person ... it's really sad when a living thing is destroyed. Other than that, I like to see things get blown up. Like cars."

hehehehe.

Bean Town, Year Three

Dave and I traveled to Boston this past weekend for our annual BC/Wake game with Mar and Brendan. It was a quick, fabulous weekend ... we got to see baby Sullivan growing away, meet Mr. Roy Sullivan, super dog, and watch our Deacs give it a valiant effort. We also got to catch a glimpse of Aunt Barbara and Uncle Dick, which was lovely.

Thanks to Maureen and Brendan for their hospitality - we love Bean Town!
