As Seen on TV

I must confess that, when I was stuck in my recliner post-surgery, I watched way too much TV. I am now also a Law and Order SVU addict. I have been meaning to post a few products on commercials I saw that made me laugh during my recovery ... if for no other reason than to remind myself that I did experience some levity during that rough patch. Check out the commercials below. My apologies if any of you own these things. No judgment here - well, maybe a touch. Hehe.

Do we live in CO?

It's been snowing here since 3 a.m. pretty much nonstop. Very unusual for Charlotte town. It's also only the 3rd time in seven years that we've had school closed - huzzah!

Christmas in CA

This Christmas, we rendezvoused with mom, dad, rob, ellen, john, and "the ladies" in Rancho Santa Fe, CA for a week of delicious down time. As I was still recovering from surgery, I loved the quiet days reading and chilling and looking at the gorgeous views. Highlights from the trip include Liz, Bill, and the girls coming for a day visit, Ivy asking if baby Charlie was "inside" and then patting my boob, Robert seeing True Grit with the gang and making it through the whole thing, a day trip to Hotel del Coronado, gaming (Settlers!), Shep gracing us with his presence, and, of course, just being together. Thanks to mom and dad for making it a relaxing, lovely holiday together.
