baby RJ

ellen and john welcomed their first son (and my first nephew!) on September 15, 2012. I was lucky enough to spend the last five days in baby heaven with this precious new family in LA. thanks to mutti for hanging with Charlie so i could get away. I have to state here again how amazed I am by sister - her ability to love and feel and persevere is inspiring. love you, sister.

16 months

Again, I am about a month late posting this, but...

Charlie's 16 month appointment went off without a hitch, though he is definitely getting wise to the whole shot business.  Little man weighed in at 20.5 pounds and just about 31.5 inches ... placing him in the 3rd-5th %tile for weight and the 25-50%tile for height.  I like to think of it as the peanut category.  Enjoy the photos from while we were waiting to see the doctor - the first two are blurry because he is in a constant state of motion.  Love.

Summer Lovin

I am finally getting around to posting a few photos from the summer. Charlie and I spent some of it in Dallas and Steamboat with long stretches at home which was heavenly. Pool time at Monica's, discovering watermelon and visiting the toy store were Charlotte favorites.
