1) Cat Dealy is, in fact, tall tall tall
2) sections of the show are pre-recorded (LL Cool J's session and the group dance number for example)
3) the dancers are super, super nervous in between commercial breaks
4) the dancers work all 7 days of the week - dance natzi: no break for you!
5) the studio and the stage are quite small in person
