San Diego!

About two weeks ago, I got to travel to San Diego with my dear friend Monica to attend ... wait for it ... the National Council for Teachers of Mathematics conference. That's right! It was actually a great conference - I learned a bit about Singapore math, experienced some amazing new technology for the classroom, and learned some really rocking strategies for helping kids solve problems. And, while being around thousands of math teachers was a bit intimidating and borderline creepy, we had a great time - there was even Pinkberry! The only bummer was that it was warmer in Charlotte than San Diego. Argh.
