Day Nine...

Charlie is nine days old today - it's true what I've heard about the "newborn time vortex" - where do the days go? Perhaps they are lost in my new regular past times: breast pumping and using copious amount of wipes and diapers. Or maybe just snuggling up with our little one - we can't seem to get enough of that.

C continues to be super chill - we like to think his temperament is the result of all the yoga in utero and some sort of cosmic bone for his mom and dad who had a bumpy time conceiving, a nutty surgery while preggo, and an adventurous marriage at times.

We are on a good schedule these days and even finding some awake time to play a little. He slept in his room in the bassinet last night for the first time - much to my dismay (Me: What if he needs us in the night or gets scared? Dave: Em, he's five steps away and we have a monitor. Me: Oh, right.) - and did great.

Here are a few pictures from the last few days...
